We must quickly reach the tipping point for monumental change in the way we live if we are to survive. But how will we get there? How can we connect our individual efforts with those of others, to ensure that what works can be built upon, modified and expanded to have the greatest positive impact?
Human beings are both collaborative and competitive by nature. RACE TO ZERO CITY aims to tap into both qualities and incite and accelerate a competition to create the first carbon neutral city in North America, so that we can more quickly reach that tipping point for sustainable living, globally.
Our team is reaching out across many communities to collaboratively build a vehicle for people all over the world to show each other examples of real innovations in carbon reduction—demonstrating progress and building momentum to reach the audacious, but absolutely necessary goal of creating carbon neutral cities all over the world.
